During the seminar I presented the importance of giving emotional care to the disaster victims. Everyone earnestly and seriously listened to the presentation and thought how they could apply the counsel.

I'm hoping that the Chevrolet's Blazer will run well in getting us to the disaster shelter. The water is a gift from the government of Thailand. Everyone is reaching beyond the boards of their nations to meet the needs of the disaster victims. May God's love reach each and every one of them!

The evening we arrived in Fukushima we attended a dinner with the NPO Shalom. This NPO has earned the trust of the city of Fukushima after many years of activities aiding the needy.  The following day we were led on a guided tour of Fukushima city's largest refuge center, Azuma Gymnasium.

Fukushima is not the only prefecture that was contaminated by nuclear radiation. The level of ground surface radiation of radioactive cesium in the center of Fukushima city has been steadily increasing. Terrible things are happening.

It is an exceedingly rare sight to see Christians to pray together with a Shinto priest for the cleansing of land. We were allowed to participate in this.

The Thai government sent a variety of relief supplies to the Japanese Foreign Ministry. We distributed T shirts and yellow jackets which are gifts from the government of Thailand.

NGO Food for the Hungry International Organization has set up a base in a Sendai YWCA to participate in the relief activities. Not only supplying the disaster victims food and material goods, but giving them mental and emotional care is of vital importance.
